Kimberly received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz where she graduated cum laude with a major in Sociology and minor in Environmental Studies.

After graduating, Kimberly was offered a full scholarship to both the Ph.D. program in Sociology at the University of California, Santa Cruz and to Loyola Law School.  She made the decision to pursue a career in law, received her Juris Doctorate in 1993 from Loyola Law School, and has enthusiastically and successfully practiced as a civil litigator for the past 25 years.

Although Kimberly has a broad base of substantive experience to draw from, professional liability has remained her primary interest and core focus throughout her practice. SCHAEFFER COTA ROSEN LLP provides her with the opportunity to now commit the entirety of her experience, professionalism, and zealous advocacy to representing physicians and medical providers against claims of negligence.

Originally from Arizona, Kimberly has resided in Southern California for approximately 30 years and continues to raise her family here. In her spare time, Kimberly enjoys watching her children participate in their respective sports, skiing, hiking, and gardening.
